The CominCon is in Javitz center this week I think, yay that they are showing their support!
I am skeptical. I believe you can find information and instruction on either end of the spectrum on just about anything.
Case in point….my doctor told me self exams are not recommended any longer since women were feeling normal tissue that felt concerning to them. Instead, he said mammograms are the recommended way exclusively.
I’m not saying this is the answer. I’m just saying we never quite know what to believe….I only know that eight years ago today, I was on my way to the ocean with my then 11 year old daughter after being told the day before that her cancer would kill her. 42 days later, it did.
On this we can all agree….cancer sucks.
Breast cancer is scary and I’m 38 now. Better get checked!
