Christmas time means one big thing for me… Christmas Movies!
Growing up, I always loved Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. How could you not? That crazy animation. The elf who wanted to become a dentist. The scary (yet lovable) Bumble! Pure timeless awesomeness.
And then there’s one of the funniest films of all time, A Christmas Story. There’ve been a lot of great ones over the years. Christmas Vacation. A Charlie Brown Christmas. Elf. All good stuff. But the #1 Christmas movie that will never ever be topped is one I loved watching as a kid. It’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas!
Allie thinks I’m nuts. Ryan was bored out of his mine when we watched it last year. And Jason won’t even talk to me when I bring it up. My old roommate Mike and my cousins are about the only people I know who have my back when it comes to Emmet.
So in hopes of gaining more support, here’s a few tunes from the Jug Band.

I was so happy when they FINALLY put this out on DVD-I got htis for my mom-the extras on this are absolutely incredible. It is such a treat to see all of the puppeteers and costuming.
