Review: KNEX 2-in-1 Ferris Wheel

KNEX 2-in-1 Ferris Wheel

I love the amusement park line that K’NEX puts out. It’s just really fun to build rollercoasters, Ferris Wheels and all sorts of other dizzy-inducing rides. And the fact they all tie together to a motor, just adds to the fun.

I was recently sent the K’NEX 2-in-1 Ferris Wheel to take for a test drive. I figured Ryan might be up for the challenge and he certainly was. He dove right in and finished the entire thing in pretty much just one day.

This construction toy would make for a great present this holiday season. Want to see it in action? Here’s Ryan showing off his masterpiece:

This one set lets you build the giant Ferris Wheel (It’s 3 feet tall!) and Spin Ride, or you can use all the pieces to build one crazy Tumbling Tornado!

  4. Great review! We haven’t tried Knex before. I was trying to decide if I should get some for my son for Christmas. I think I will. Thanks!

  5. K’nex make me nostalgic. Me and my cousins used to build random constructions, and compete whose could make the most trips down the stairs without breaking. We said it was to check structural integrity, but whipping things down the stairs was fun too.

  6. This connects to this, which connects to this and this and that! That’s totally how I would describe it! I love how you put figures in there to take a ride. Great review, Ryan!

  7. That is so awesome! You see what it looks like on the box, but you don’t realize how huge it is until you build it! I’ve totally passed this up in the toy aisle before, but I think my son would love it!

  8. My son loves playing with Knex toys. He has a few of the set for Monster Trucks. This one looks fun plus I think it helps kids to use their imaginations.

  9. I’ve looked at these sets before but wasn’t if you could actually get it to work like it should. Thanks for the video to show how it really turns out! This may definitely be an idea for my son for Christmas this year.

  11. My two older boys would love to put this together with each other. They are always trying to find things they can do together and with a 10 year age gap that can get pretty hard but this looks like a lot of fun.
