Jet just launched last month and has a real unique take on shopping. It’s a club subscription service ($49.99 annual membership) with some real low prices. And the more you buy, the more you save. They basically tack on savings in a zillion different ways.
They also take the standard club warehouse method of buying in massive bulk (like bathtub-sized containers of mayo) and turn it on its ear. Instead of buying large products to save, you can save with large shopping carts. The more you buy (no matter what products), the more you’ll save.
The two best things I see are Free Shipping on $35+ and Free Returns! And since Jet only profits from its membership fees, they try to save you money any chance they get. After all, lower prices for consumers doesn’t cut into their revenue stream at all.
So for example, you get free returns on every item. But maybe you don’t want to be eligible for free returns on certain items. Say, a few boxes of toothpaste that you’ve used forever and know you’ll love. You can opt to waive the free return fee and instead see the total cost of your cart drop.
I met with a few folks from Jet recently at BlogHer15. And these guys are looking to get the word out, so they were kind enough to give me 25 Free Jet Memberships!
To claim a Free Jet Membership, just sign up at Jet.com and use code MOMMYSBUSY to get your 1-year membership absolutely free.
Now, I wish I could get 5,000 free memberships, but right now it’s limited to just 25. So it’s first come, first served. But if enough of you show an interest, maybe I can get another batch to pass on! (Hint! Hint!)
I’d love to hear what you guys think of Jet. My wife signed up but we haven’t really tried it out yet. So let me know what you think in the comments section below!
