The Happy Birthday Captain America Giveaway

CapBday

Independence Day. It’s not just a great cheesy movie from yesteryear. It also happens to be the day us Americans celebrate our Independence by shooting off fireworks and eating tons of hot dogs.

Ya gotta love the Fourth of July. And this year, well, this year also marks a very special anniversary. See, a certain Star-Spangled Avenger was “born” back in 1941 in the pages of Captain America Comics #1.

To commemorate Cap’s 75th Anniversary (I know, he doesn’t look a day over 30), his birthday is being celebrate on July 4! I’m not even going to attempt to make a Captain America Shield cake, but instead I am joining in on the fun.

Thanks to my buddies over at Hasbro, I’m running a Happy Birthday Captain America Giveaway! It’s full of loads of freedom and Captain America goodies!

Take a look at what I’m giving away to one lucky American!

Hasbro

MARVEL’S CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR CAPTAIN AMERICA MAGNETIC SHIELD AND GAUNTLET
(Ages 5 years & up/MSRP: $12.99)

I think I have about six or seven Captain America shields in my house. They’re all different sizes and some do crazy things like shoot darts or missiles. This one looks awesome because the shield attaches to the wrist gauntlets with magnets and can be tossed around when removed.

MARVEL’S CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR TITAN HERO Electronic Figures

(Ages 4 years & up/MSRP: $19.99)

I never had electronic figures when I was a kid, so I did all the talking myself. Which was definitely fun. But still, what I wouldn’t have given for a cool Captain America figure that actually spoke to me! The Titan Hero Electronic Figures are 12-inches tall and feature 5-points of articulation. With the press of a button, you can hear sound effects and various phrases. The giveaway winner will take home a Captain America figure, but the entire line includes: Cap, Iron Man, Falcon and War Machine, in case you’re looking to go purchase them all.

CapMicroMasher
MARVEL SUPER HERO MASHERS MICRO Figure Assortment

(Ages 4 years & up/MSRP: $4.99)

I love Hasbro’s Mashers line where you can mix and match body parts of all their figures. I have a number of superhero and Star Wars ones and they always make me giggle. Now Hasbro’s going a step further by releasing Marvel Super Hero Mashers in a smaller 2.3-inch scale! These guys separate at the arms and head for all sorts of wacky combos and yes, you can even mix them with the original 6-inch Masher! Look for a full line of 24 different figures this year, including Captain America, Thor and Spider-Man.

Win a Captain America Prize Pack!
