Next week, the bird-brained animated comedy Rio 2 flies onto shelves. I can’t wait to get my copy, since I really loved the first one. THe kids did too. And well, anything having to do with birds is a-ok in Allie’s book.
To help get you in the mood for Rio 2 (and, of course, to keep you safe, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has put together a Summer Survival Bucket List. Don’t worry, bird lovers, this bucket doesn’t contain any fried chicken! Uh uh. It’s all about kicking back and having fun this summer, whether it’s staying safe in the sun or keeping yourself busy with some indoor activities.
And hey, even after you pick up your own copy of Rio 2 on DVD or Blu-ray this Tuesday, July 15, you still have all summer to cross the following off your list:
- Wear Sunscreen
- Go to the beach
- Build a sandcastle
- Look for sand crabs, but set them free before you head home!
- Have a picnic with your family
- Go for a bike ride; don’t forget your helmet!
- Go to the park and swing on the swings
- Have a coloring contest with your friends
- Make homemade popsicles

I like number 3 Build a sandcastle. We haven’t been to the beach yet this summer.
On my Bucket List is going to the movies, eating at a nice restaurant, going to the Lake and swimming, and sleeping in! I like Rio 1 and 2. This is such a good movie.
I’m excited to see Rio 2. this is a great list of summer activities, I would love to go to the beach.
Going swimming is definitely on our bucket list this summer. We cannot wait for the Rio 2 release!!
