My time here as your roving Disney reporter is coming to a close. Don’t be sad! While it means this is the last post for the Little Mermaid and Disney Planes event – it also means we’ve come to the best part of all: The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition!

I know what you’re thinking: I already have the Little Mermaid DVD. Why do I want to buy a second one? I know because that’s what I thought…at first. Not only was my love for Ariel and her underwater companions rekindled by my visit to the Disney Studios (and meeting with Jodi Benson – still awesome. Can’t get over it), but I also received my own Diamond Edition DVD & BluRay set. It came just in time too because my kids were sick, sick, sick and the uplifting music and lovable characters were just what the doctor ordered.

  134. Princess Leia of course, but if we are talking classic Disney I always wanted to be Ariel, I was always infatuated with the ocean and all its creatures. I dreamed that I could swim with them.
