I’ve always loved Jell-O. Regular Jell-O. Jell-O pudding. Jell-O pudding pops. (Thank you, Mr. Cosby.)
I mean, what’s not to love?
Growing up, my mom would make Jell-O all the time (the old fashioned way… on the stove!) when I was sick. Cherry and orange were my favorites and they always made me feel better. She’d also make chocolate or vanilla pudding for dessert quite often. So yeah, we grew up as a Jell-O house. Mmm… Jell-O house…
Nowadays it’s so easy to enjoy Jell-O in any form since they’re pre-made and packaged. Just grab a cup from the refrigerated section and dive in. So easy and so good. And now, apparently there’s a new line of Jell-O puddings with mix-ins. So, of course, how could I not try them?
This new line of Mix-Ins features six awesome-sounding flavors: German Chocolate Cake, Turtle Sundae, Oreo Dirt Cup, Birthday Cake, Banana Caramel Pie, and Strawberry Shortcake. Each comes with a regular flavored pudding along with various sprinkles or crumbles to dump in. No cooking needed!

In my book, adding in sprinkles and stirring counts as cooking. So after I cooked a few of these flavors, I dove in. I have to say, they each do taste pretty close to what they say. I think the Birthday Cake was my favorite with the Oreo Dirt Cup a close second. (Think super duper chocolaty pudding.)
Ditch the mixing bowl, put down the whisk and back away from the measuring cup. JELL-O with Mix-Ins is a new line of pudding snacks featuring tasty toppings and creamy pudding that, when mixed, create some of your all-time favorite dessert flavors – all in one convenient cup. Made with real milk and containing no artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup, adults can enjoy a tasty treat, and parents can feel great about including JELL-O with Mix-Ins in their kids’ lunchboxes or serving them as an after-school snack. The line includes six yummy flavors of refrigerated ready-to-eat cups, including: German Chocolate Cake, Turtle Sundae, Oreo Dirt Cup, Birthday Cake, Banana Caramel Pie and Strawberry Shortcake.
These are definitely a great treat and something you can easily pack in your kids’ lunches. Even better, they’re made with real milk and have no artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup.
Jell-O with Mix-Ins are currently available at your local supermarket with a suggested retail price of $1.79 per two-pack.

Butterscotch all the way! Pistachio is a close second, though – it reminds me of holidays at my granny’s house when she’d make pistachio “salad” – basically pistachio jell-o, cool whip, cherries, and pineapple. 🙂
