In exchange for writing this death-defying post, the company has provided product samples for review and for use in a giveaway. No other compensation was given. All views, opinions and brains are solely my own and were in no way influenced by the sponsor.

I’m not the fastest runner. Not the slowest either. Unfortunately, I just don’t have much stamina, so while I’d do okay in a short sprint, I’d be toasted in a marathon.

And sadly, that may end up costing me my life.

See, when the Zombie Apocalypse eventually hits, I’ll be able to outrun most of them for a bit. But eventually, they’ll overtake me. Even a Louisville Slugger wouldn’t hold a swarm off for long.

So yeah, I need to start hitting the treadmill.

In the meantime, I’m going to start spreading awareness. And thanks to the super-cool art community Redbubble, I can look stylish, while spreading my important message.

Redbubble is an online store selling unique T-shirts, hoodies, posters, stickers, iPhone cases and more. What’s neat about them is that their products come from artists all over the world. So you get some really fun, unique items.

The company contacted me to review their line of Zombie-themed American Apparel T-shirts and I gladly selected three shirts to try out.

The products arrived quickly and I have to say they are incredibly soft. That’s not something I usually say (or even notice) about T-shirts. But they were. They also held up in the wash just fine. I ordered all three shirts in an XL size because of my fat gut broad shoulders.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

Zombie Warning

Zombie Warning
First up is this Zombie Warning sign T-shirt designed by Powerpig. It’s available in a slew of colors but I chose Dark Grey because, well, I guess I’m just kind of boring. Hopefully the terror in my eyes or the Caution sign on my chest will be enough to save at least one life out there!
Zombie Evolution T-Shirt (I)
Zombie Evolution
In case anyone’s curious about the evolution of zombies from ape to caveman to human to dead human to zombie, this Zombie Evolution T-shirt designed by Neizan clearly spells it all out. Obviously I chose the brown color, though it’s available in over a dozen colors.
Zombie Apocalypse

Zombie Apocalypse Rescue Team

My favorite of the bunch, the Zombie Apocalypse Rescue Team shirt designed by PlangPlung puts all Life Guard and First Aid shirts to shame! Over 20 color combinations are available, and I chose the Blue.

You can browse a slew of great Zombie-themed T-shirts over at Redbubble, most falling in the $20-$30 price range.

Remember to stock up on Twinkies and help your fellow humans out!

  1. Definitely Shaun of the Dead. I really got in to The Walking Dead the first season, but since I have to play late at night when everyone is asleep, it was freaking me out too much.
    Thanks

  2. My husband and I watched the movie Shaun of the Dead a few weekends ago. That was pretty good! I usually don’t like zombie shows.

  6. Dawn of the Dead 1978 is my favorite movie. When I was a kid my dad took about 8 of our kids from my neighborhood to see it and it was too scary! I loved it!!

  8. I love the gonzo Japanese zombie flick The Happiness of the Katakuris! A close second would be Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive.

  9. I’ve almost watched about every zombie film ever made, but I’ll have to hand to The Dead (2010). Those were some pretty creepy zombies! As for TV show, The Walking Dead, of course! 🙂

  10. I don’t really do well with any scary movies or shows, I saw some of I am Legend. My daughter however is big into zombies and is so excited about the new season of The Walking Dead, she talks about it all the time. I will be in another room when its on!
