Mega Bloks Halo and Skylanders Sets

I gotta admit, Mega Bloks has certainly come a long way. In the past, I just remember them being these big clunky blocks that were just like Legos. But over the years, they’ve added so many different product lines and licenses, that they’re like a completely different company now.

Two of their neatest and most popular lines right now are based on video games. (Woot!) There’s a ton of building sets based on the entire Halo Universe, as well as Skylanders. So if you’ve got video game-addicted kids at home (and who doesn’t?) Mega Bloks has you covered from youngsters to teenagers.

The company was nice enough to send me a couple of sets to use as prizes in a giveaway. So that’s just what I’m doing with this post!

Here’s specifics on each of the two sets I’m giving away:

 

Skylanders Giants Zeppelin Air Ship Assault

  1. lineup is stacked! I think it’s missing a huge set (maybe a phantom…) but overall is great! The heros and helmets are great, the army builders are fantastic, and that falcon… what can I say? Great video and hope to play some custom games soon!

  73. Oh my there was so many greats when I was growing up. From Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Space Invaders, Galaga, Centipede and among many many others. My Favorite I’d have to say is Galaga. My 6 yr old Son is a Skylanders fanatic though.

  76. mario is my sons favorite, but since he was three he plays skylanders, he has aspergers, and is very good at video games and devices, thank you for the chance. my favorite is also mario.

  101. My all time favorite was Donkey Kong – yes, I realize that gives my age away. My sister and I played that game so much our fingers would cramp so we taught ourselves to play with our feet (use the joystick between our toes and use the other big toe to press the button).
