There are some things from the “olden” days that are just completely charming, yet are pretty much rarities these days.
I’m talking about things like pocket watches, typewriters, and even handkerchiefs. Although to be honest, I’ve never really understood the handkerchief. So you blow your nose and then stick the… uh… gooey, remnant-covered cloth back in your pocket? That’s just nasty!
No, sir. I’ll take tissues over a handkerchief any day of the week. In fact, I’ll take an entire care package of them! Which just happens to be exactly what the super friendly folks from Scotties sent over for me to check out!
Their “Our Softest Ever” line of facial tissues comes in 3-ply, 2-ply, and Aloe versions. But that’s not what I’m most impressed with. Nor is it the variety of colorful patterns or scenes on each tissue box. Uh uh. It has to do with our planet.
You see, for every one tree that Scotties uses to produce its products, they promise to plant three more! So if you think about it, the more you buy Scotties tissues, the more trees they’re using. And the more trees they’re using, the more trees they’ll plant! So every time you blow your nose, you’re one step closer to helping plant a bunch of trees!
Now that winter’s here, you’ll unfortunately have a greater need for tissues thanks to this wacky weather. (Of course, all you New York Jets fans have probably used up a few crates of tissues this past week alone.)
Scotties is giving my readers a chance to win a care package filled with Scotties “Our Softest Ever” facial tissues! And that’s nothing to sneeze at!
