I admit I was a bit skeptical when I first heard Marvel was making a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Then I saw it and was blown away. Then I saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and couldn’t believe it was even better than the first one.
Yep, when it comes to sequels, most movie franchises fall flat with a few exceptions. But Marvel Films knows how to follow-up and that’s exactly what they did in this action-packed, hilarious superhero romp that has incredible emotion and heart at the core.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 DVD hits stores on August 22, and if I didn’t already own a copy (blogging has its priviledges!), I’d be outside Target right now waiting for the doors to open.
