Beauty and the Beast – Disney’s Tale as Old as Time Gets Retold

As much as I love Disney's The Little Mermaid, it's the fish film's follow-up that holds a real special place in my heart. I first saw Beauty and the Beast in college with my girlfriend (a.k.a. My future wife). We both absolutely loved it and I'd even go around doing my best Beast impression as I'd burst out into song and start belting this infamous line: "She glanced this way. I thought I saw. But when we touched, she didn't shudder at my paw!" Years later, we saw the amazing Beauty and the Beast show on Broadway (the beast transformation is sooo cool!) to keep the magic alive. We've probably seen the ...

The World’s Greatest Secret Agent Danger Mouse Returns!

Left Penfold Right Danger Mouse ©2014 FremantleMedia Limited He's the greatest. He's fantastic. Wherever there is trouble he'll be there. Yes siree. Sweep up the crumbs and put on the tea kettle because Danger Mouse is back in business! If you're wondering what I'm talking about, well, that's just sad! Danger Mouse was one of my favoritest cartoons growing up. A parody of British Spy Shows, Danger Mouse was a James Bond-type of hero complete with the perfect British Accent and signature spy moves. With his faithful hamster sidekick Penfold (who's just a "tad" bit scared at times), Danger Mouse was always on the scene to stop some dastardly villains from taking over ...

Hop Over to a Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime and Devour Disney’s Zootopia Today

Things got pretty wild yesterday at the AMC Garden State 16 theater in Paramus, NJ. The place was packed paw to paw with moviegoers eager to see Disney's latest film Zootopia. And if all those little squeals and shrieks of joy were any indication, the House of Mouse has another mega hit on its hands. (And for the record, I wasn't the only one squealing and shrieking...) I took Allie and the boys with me and, thanks to Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime, I was able to give away 8 tickets to my readers! (Congrats again, Gigi and Mark!) I'd never been to a Dolby Cinema, so I couldn't wait to see, hear and feel the amazement. In ...

Win The Peanuts Movie Limited Edition DVD Gift Set

I have always loved Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts. As a kid I must've read and re-read dozens upon dozens of paperbacks, collecting the regular comic strips. Some of my favorites were the really early ones, back when the strip was called Li'l Folks. But I really loved each and every character and subsequent new strip. Snoopy, of course, was my favorite, and I really loved when his brother Spike showed up. Then there were all his other brothers and cousins. And the whole Daisy Hill Puppy Farm where our favorite beagle grew up. All of the original Peanuts TV specials were a big deal in our house too. I think the Great Pumpkin ...
