Save Swamp Thing From Extinction #SaveSwampThing

I was always a Marvel Zombie growing up. I would eat, breathe and sleep Captain America, Spider-Man, The Avengers, The X-Men and everyone else who fought for good in the Marvel U. My buddy Ethan was more of a DC Guy and was constantly trying to get me to give them a shot. But the books he mentioned sounded ludicrous. Animal Man. Booster Gold. Swamp Thing. Really? Swamp Thing? The muck-encrusted mockery of a man? I wasn't into horror and thought it just sounded... well, dumb. But I gave in to Ethan's prodding and started reading Saga of the Swamp Thing with issue #21, "The Anatomy Lesson" written by the crazy talented Alan Moore. And ...

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Swings Onto Blu-ray & DVD March 19

There have been loads of Spider-Man variations over the years. Not just different artists or costume changes, but different characters. Spider-Man 2099. Ultimate Spider-Man. Spider-Gwen. Spider-Ham. Ben Reilly. (Sorry, I had to go there.) With the recent release of Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, mainstream America finally got to see them all too! If you missed it, no worries. The award-winning animated film hits digital download on February 26 and Blu-ray/DVD on March 19. I for one, cannot wait to see it again. As a comic fan, I loved just about everything in this film. The animation is slick and so incredibly unique, I can't even describe it. The story is rich ...

The Avengers Infinity War to End All Wars

I can't stop watching it. Seriously. I must have watched Marvel's latest Avengers: Infinity War trailer close to 5000 infinity times at this point. The initial teaser trailer had the fanboy in me going a bit nuts, but this new trailer... well, it was everything I had hoped it would be. Packed with just about every Marvel hero we've seen so far, this is what Marvel Movie fans have been waiting well over a decade for. Captain America. Iron Man. Hulk. Thor. Doctor Strange. Black Panther. Guardians of the Galaxy. Spider-Man. Scarlet Witch. Winter Soldier. Vision. Scarlet Witch. The list goes on. It's Earth's Mightiest Heroes against the ultimate villain: the mad titan ...

To Infinity War and Beyond!

Marvel Studios just can't leave me alone. They continue to impress me movie after movie. And now they've resorted to teasing me. Yes, I'm talking about the Avengers: Infinity War trailer that just dropped on fanboys and fangirls worldwide. Um, what? You haven't seen it yet? Like, seriously? What are you, a DC Comics fan or something? (No offense, to my DC Comics friends!) Seriously, Infinity War is going to be epic. Like insanely epic. Remember when Captain America: Civil War came out and the fight between Team Cap and Team Iron Man at the airport? That was easily one of the coolest superhero fight scenes I have ever seen. But that's child's ...

Marvel’s The Punisher Kills on Netflix

No offense to ol' Horn Head, but The Punisher was easily the best part of Daredevil Season 2. Which is why it was cruel and unusual punishment to have to wait this long for the gun-toting Frank Castle to get his own series on Netflix. Yep, The Punisher is back, full guns a'blazin' in his own Marvel series on Netflix that ties right into the same TV universe filled with DD, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Elektra and the Immortal Iron Fist. Only he's got no powers. No radar sense. No impenetrable skin. No resurrections, unless you count the number of times the world thought Frank Castle was dead. Picking up straight from ...
