As a guy, I’ve never really given much thought to how I smell. I’m not big on colognes, and in terms of soap or deodorant, I pretty much have always just used whatever. No real loyalty on my part.
Growing up, I used whatever my mom bought for me. Nowadays, it’s whatever my wife picks up at the store. Generally, it’s been non-fragrant soaps anyways, so I guess I don’t even have a “scent” per se.
But I’m older now. and like Marvel’s Daredevil, my senses are heightened. Well, not my eyesight, that’s getting worse. But I guess as you get older, you start to notice things more. You actually do take the time to stop and smell the roses. And let me tell you, there’s a lot of stink out there!
I recently started a new job and we’re currently in one of those shared office spaces. At the moment, I’m in a real tiny office with one other person. A couple more people will be joining us shortly. So it’s going to be a bit tight, which means, I better be smelling good or else my co-workers are likely to pass out at their desks.
That’s why I’m looking to step things up a bit in the personal hygiene department. Not to mention the fact that my kids have no qualms about giving me a big hug at night, followed by a quick, “Ewww. Daddy you smell bad.” (Actual quote from Ryan… on more than one occasion.)
And, of course, I want to always smell my best for my more-than-better half. Allie’s always smelling awesome, so at the very least I should do my best to not smell bad, right? And smelling good would be a super bonus I figure.
It will probably be a bit of trial and error, but I’m going to give AXE Body Washes a try. Yes, I’m confident enough in my masculinity to publicly proclaim that I will be using one of those mesh pouf sponges.
My timing couldn’t be better too, since there’s a big sale at CVS right now! From April 26,2015 through May 2, 2015, CVS is running a Buy One, Get One 50% Off offer on AXE Shower Gels or Body Washes! That’s on all sorts of popular fragrances including Apollo, Phoenix and Sport Blast.
With summer right around the corner, I’ll hopefully be getting out and about more too. That means more exercise, followed by more sweating. And more sweating, means more stinky Andrew. So I’ll certainly have a ton of opportunities to try these body washes out in the shower. If all goes according to plan, my co-workers, kids and wife will owe AXE some serious gratitude.

My husband and son are big fans of Axe. My son has sensitive skin so he just uses the deodorant and body spray. They are both fussy about which color I should buy – I know neither of them like the “blue.”
Axe Body Wash is quite good. I always use it.

I am sending it to several buddies ans additionally sharing in delicious.
And obviously, thanks on your sweat!
