Back to the Future is Finally History

See that pile of goop on the floor over there? Yeah, that’s my brain after it just exploded.

See, Back to the Future (one of me and my family’s favorite trilogies) was all about teenager Marty McFly going back in time and then forward to the future in the sequel. Thing is, in the 1989 sequel Back to the Future II, Marty and company traveled all the way to the crazy future of October 21, 2015!

Uh, yeah. That’d be… TODAY!

No, we don’t have hover boards. No flying cars. And the way the red-hot Mets are playing these days, it looks like the Cubs may not win the World Series after all.

The really scary thing, though… this crazy futuristic movie is no longer about the future! After today, this entire awesome trilogy is about the past. Everything that happens in Back to the Future will have happened in the days of yesteryear.

While I let that sink in for you and you let your minds ‘splode, let me point out some ultra cool Back to the Future gear that everyone needs to buy like now. They’re totally tubular!

  1. We also love Back to the Future in our house. I feel really old, I remember thinking that the future in the movie was so cool. I love all of the merchandise, the monopoly game looks like so much fun.
