I’m pretty excited for Disney’s next animated tale Moana. Despite what some people think, this is not the story of the sassy redheaded grandmother from Who’s the Boss? (Yeah, I’m looking at you, Melissa and Amy.)
Uh uh. Moana is a colorful tale of a young woman on a sea-fairing journey full of adventure, monsters and impossible odds. It also stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the voice of the mighty demigod Maui.
Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows exactly why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
It really looks good and I am in love with the art and animation style of this one. Take a look:
These are nice activity sheets. We haven’t seen Moana yet, and we’re looking forward to it!
I loved having these type of sheets for my kids years ago. I would bring them to restaurants and they could keep themselves occupied while we waited for dinner.
I really llike how “The Rock’ is playing in this one. His voice sounds a tad different, but I have seen him interviewed. He really looks like he enjoys doing these, and makes a good character. Cute coloring pages.
I have seen numerous trailers for this, and it does look quite good. I was surprised “The Rock” was in it, his voice is a bit different sounding in what I have heard (maybe they changed it?) I like how all his tattoos do something and I think the main character being female is interesting too.
I really want to see this movie! These type of activity pages are great to print out for when families travel.
My little cousins love these things. I love how much detail Disney puts into their characters.
My Grandsons love to do stuff like this.we we can get the to be still.
Cute stuff, my nephew will enjoy this. I think it’s cool that they are exploring more of the Polynesian culture/mythology with this movie. Looking good.
Thanks! My son will love these!
I love Disney and Hawaii, so I definitely can’t wait for this movie! Thanks for the activity page links!
I would love to see this movie.
My grandsons would really enjoy the coloring sheets. It’s a great indoor activity for them.
