These Designer Shoes Were Made for Walking

This post was brought to you by the fine folks over at Alex and Alexa

When I was a kid, I remember going shopping for sneakers all the time. Every year before school started, my mom would drag my sister and I to the mall to go shoe shopping. Man, I hated it.

Sure it was fun to pick out a nice new pair based on the limited styles available at the time. But I despised getting my feet measured, and then trying on pair after pair after pair of sneakers. Walking around the store to see how they fit. I still hate it, actually. New shoes are always so stiff. They never feel good right off the shelf, so how am I supposed to tell if they’re comfy or not? And of course my feet are probably in between sizes, so they never fit quite right.

If only we had the Internet back then. I could just look, click and order without ever leaving my home! I would’ve been so happy to just sit and play Pitfall on my Atari 2600 while my mom ordered up a new pair of shoes for me.

Thinking back, as a kid I don’t remember too many choices. Not too many brands available and most were real straight forward. Either white with blue stripes, or blue with white stripes. I think I may’ve even gotten red stripes once! Oh, I was such a rebel.

Nowadays, though, it’d take me years to look through all the different kids shoes available! And some online stores have amazing selections of pretty unique looking kicks! (I’m so hip with the shoe lingo.)

Alex and Alexa

I just found out about Alex and Alexa. It’s a real nicely designed site that offers fashionable kid clothes and accessories. As someone who is just a tad bit fashionably challenged, I’m a big fan of online stores that show me good-looking clothes. Designer fashion is not something I can really “get” on my own. I’ll take whatever help anyone can throw my way.

Anyways, I was curious, so I went looking at sneakers for kids at Alex and Alexa. I was pretty impressed with their selection. They certainly blow away anything I get for myself these days. Lots of different color and style choices and some big name brands I’m familiar with like New Balance, Vans, Puma, Timberand and Geox. But they also had some designer brands I never even knew made shoes!

I mean I love the smell of Dolce & Gabbana cologne but who knew they made sneakers for kids?

There’s an enormous selection of designer shoes and sneakers available. While the geek in me would love to snag some Captain America or Spider-Man sneakers, I have to admit, these all look pretty sweet to me. And I’m happy to report that your kids don’t need to be named Alex or Alexa in order to shop here. They just need a desire to be fashionable.

  1. With such a wide range of designer shoes and sneakers on offer, the temptation to grab some Captain America or Spider-Man kicks is undeniable. However, geek allure aside, it’s hard to deny the appeal of the entire collection. What’s more, it’s important to note that the fashion offerings cater to all kids, regardless of whether their name is Alex or Alexa. All they need is a penchant for style.

  2. Wow, I was surprised to find that renowned designers also create shoes as amazing as these! It’s really fascinating to see how these big names expand their talent and creativity beyond clothing and venture into the world of footwear. It’s a pretty interesting discovery that further amplifies my admiration for these designers. I look forward to exploring more about their shoe collections and seeing what other surprises they have in store.]
