Straight From Ant-Man and the Wasp: Scott Lang’s Fun-At-Home Kit

Avengers death Infinity War

I loved Ant-Man. Such a hugely emotional story packed into a teeny tiny character. So when Ant-Man and the Wasp came out, I was blown away at twice the action, twice the teeny tiny superheroes and twice the shockers!

If you haven’t seen Ant-Man and the Wasp yet… shut the door! No, really. Go shut the door then sit on your couch and start streaming it because that bad boy is available now on digital download! And on October 16, you can take Ant-Man and the Wasp home as a super spiffy Blu-ray.

Without giving too much away, the film sees our hero Scott Lang stuck at home. Following the amazingly awesome events of Captain America: Civil War, our bugtastic hero found himself arrested. Thankfully, Scott Lang (Ant-Man) doesn’t have to continue doing time on The Raft (a floating prison). Instead, he’s stuck serving house arrest. On the plus side, he gets to spend some quality and creative time with his daughter Cassie.

Those folks over at Marvel thought it’d be fun for some of us bloggers to take on the role of Scott Lang and spend a Fun-At-Home Day In with our kids. Here’s what they suggested:

As a huge bowling fan, I couldn’t resist diving into the indoor bowling set first. Cassie, I mean Jason, dropped to the floor to join in.

I wouldn’t be a good father if I told you that he completely missed every pin on his first two throws even from that close distance. But, uh, he did.

When Jason finally got enough strikes (yes, he got better with practice!), I grabbed the karaoke mic and started crooning. Or singing. Or screaming. I kind of made up my own “Ant-Man is the best Avenger everrrrr” song.

No, I’m not including the audio here. You can thank me later.

One of Scott Lang’s favorite things to do in his “home prison” was to learn how to play the drums. Apparently it’s so easy even an ant can learn.

Jason did his best Tommy Lee impression and smashed away on this colorful (and loud!) finger drum kit. Each piece lights up as you hit it and you can even record your riff. Rock on!

Another of Scott’s passions was magic. He was determined to learn some killer card tricks. Here I am pulling a fast one over on Jason as he unknowingly is about to pick the Ace of Hearts. I am so smooth.

My second favorite part of this set is the Ant-Man and the Wasp indoor basketball hoop. I’ve always loved these and can’t wait to bring this to work and stick it on the back of my office door. You know, for important meetings.

My favorite item in the Scott Lang’s Fun at Home Kit? That’s easy. It’s the Blu-ray copy of Ant-Man and the Wasp! This film just gets better with every viewing, especially that shocking end credits scene!

Be sure to grab your copy of Ant-Man and the Wasp on Blu-ray October 16, or currently on digital download!
