As posted on The Jim Henson Company's Facebook page: It is with great sadness that we confirm that John Henson, son of Jim and Jane Henson and brother to Lisa, Cheryl, Brian and Heather, died at age 48 of a sudden massive heart attack on Friday, February 14, while at home with his daughter. I haven't written in a few days. Not since I first heard news of the tragic events in Newtown, Connecticut. I've wanted to write. Get my feelings down but it's all been a complete jumble of emotions, I didn't even know where to start. Anger. Shock. Disbelief. Grief. Horror. R.I.P. Marc Wilkofsky

So this morning I woke up to find out that an old co-worker of mine had passed away. My first job right out of college was working as a copy editor for Wizard Entertainment. I got to write, edit, and proofread articles about comic books. Pretty cool job. Besides the perks of free comics, one of the best parts of the job, I have to say, was the staff. The editorial, design, and research teams were a close-knit group of guys (and a gal or two) in their early 20s.
