The holidays can be tough. The crowds. The traffic. The family squabbles. The stress. And the never-ending quest to cross everyone off your gift list
If only gifts grew on trees, am I right? Well, they may not do that exactly (unless someone on your list is dying for a lemon tree), but I’ve found the very next best thing. GiftTree is a fantastic gift basket site offering easy shopping and some of the neatest, uniquest and most delicious gifts I’ve ever come across.
Simple to navigate, you can shop by occasions, basket types, gift types, customer favorites or even price to name a few options. What I love is the immense variety available. From new baby gifts to romantic gifts and even business gifts for those special clients, GiftTree has you covered.
There’s also a real elegance to this site and its products. Just look at how delicious and impressive some of these gifts look.
Sure, you’ll find bottles of wine and flowers, but everything just looks like top quality materials to exhibit some real impressive results. These aren’t your cheap baskets full of a box of nuts and some sweet summer sausage. Uh uh. You’ll get a gorgeous honey pot, beautiful bottle of oil or a variety of cooking utensils.
Trust me, your recipient will most definitely take notice of a GiftTree gift basket. In fact, you can even personalize some gifts for a really special person.
Personalized wind chimes? A Lewis and Clark Compass? These are some pretty unique things that I’d probably never think of getting for myself but would love as a gift from someone.
Ordering is a snap too. Pick your gift based on whichever criteria you want, and you’ll find yourself on the product page with a full description of everything included in your gift. A lot of food-related gifts usually come with nuts, which we can’t have because of my son’s allergies. Even so, I was able to find plenty of food baskets that had me drooling all over my keyboard.
I’m a sucker for a good collection of meats and cheeses, so the Deluxe Cured Meats and Imported Cheese Gift Basket was calling my name.
Notice how there’s a full description of the items included, as well as tasting notes! There, you’ll find detailed descriptions of the items, along with suggested pairings. Yeah, I was sold and before I knew it, a gorgeous picnic basket had arrived at my house. Yogi Bear would be beyond jealous at this point.
What’s really neat about this gift basket is the basket itself. A quick twist of the latch and inside you’ll find…
Yep, that’s an insulated bag inside the picnic basket! Look how beautifully GiftTree set things up too. They include descriptive cards of the enclosed cheeses, along with a mini scissors to help cut things open.
The insulated cooler is big enough to easily fit a number of cheeses and meats, along with a bunch of ice packs (which I’ve removed for the above photo). You could have so much fun hitting the beach or the park, or even your living room by the fireplace, with this cooler. I’m going to try packing it up with our favorite sushi one of these days for a nice family outing!
Included in my gourmet gift basket were three types of artisan cheeses (Cantelet Dore, Petit Basque, and Sottocenere), along with two types of charcuterie (Iberico Bellota and Fennel Salami). While I can’t really pronounce any of that, I can tell you that to me, this was seriously good cheese and salami!
The cheese was super soft and I think my favorite was the Sottocenere, which had a hint of truffles. The Iberco de Bellota was a delicious ham, thinly sliced, and the Fennel Spiced Salami was your traditional hard salami that you can cut into pennies. Or rather, quarters or half dollars in this case.
Each cheese comes with a nice printed description, along with suggested wine pairings.
As of this writing, I can attest to the fact that all I have left is the picnic basket. All food has since been devoured and digested and is sadly missed at this point. Seriously, it was all amazing and delivered in just a beautiful package all around. I’m putting a hat on now so that I can take my hat off to GiftTree.com for putting together such an amazing collection. I’ll definitely be heading there for all my future gift needs.
Want a closer look at my haul? I even put together an unboxing video to welcome you right into my home. Take a look:
The next time you’re on the hunt for that perfect gift for somebody special, just head on over to GiftTree.com and truly make someone’s day.

I love the cheese baskets! I have friends who love cheese and chocolates and it would be so much easier to send a Christmas gift of what they love!
This is a nice one, gave ya a share on twitter! Hope your Holidays are going fantastic!
