Included in my gourmet gift basket were three types of artisan cheeses (Cantelet Dore, Petit Basque, and Sottocenere), along with two types of charcuterie (Iberico Bellota and Fennel Salami). While I can’t really pronounce any of that, I can tell you that to me, this was seriously good cheese and salami!
The cheese was super soft and I think my favorite was the Sottocenere, which had a hint of truffles. The Iberco de Bellota was a delicious ham, thinly sliced, and the Fennel Spiced Salami was your traditional hard salami that you can cut into pennies. Or rather, quarters or half dollars in this case.
Each cheese comes with a nice printed description, along with suggested wine pairings.
As of this writing, I can attest to the fact that all I have left is the picnic basket. All food has since been devoured and digested and is sadly missed at this point. Seriously, it was all amazing and delivered in just a beautiful package all around.
