If you didn’t know it (and now you do), today is the official Star Wars Day! Yep, it happens every year on May 4. As in, “May the 4th Be With You!”
Whether you’re 40-year-old geek who still sleeps on his Star Wars sheets (uh, no, that’s not me… yet) or a 6-year-old girl who loves her Padme lunch box, today is your day to shine. Heck, it’s such a joyous day, I don’t even care if you love Jar Jar or mistakenly think that the Prequels are far superior to the original trilogy. Today is a day for all Star Wars fans.
Rejoice! Spread your geek pride! Hug a Wookiee!
To join in on the celebration, you can read my recent guest post on 10 Things I’ve Learned About Parenting By Watching Star Wars. (Thanks again for renting me out some space, Sheila!) Or if you really want, you can go buy me that Lego Star Wars Death Star I’ve always wanted. Play with your Star Wars figures. Have a lightsaber battle. Do whatever makes your galaxy happy, just be a Star Wars fan!
Here’s a few random Star Wars goodies to get you going!
