I drink coffee every day. I’m really not too particular or loyal to any brands. Just give me that sweet sweet caffeine and the day’s already 10 times brighter.
With Mother’s Day coming up soon, though, I’m really going to need some extra help in the morning. I mean, what kind of dad would I be if I didn’t bring my wife breakfast in bed on that special day? And it’s not like I trust my kids with anything in the kitchen.
As luck would have it, there’s a new line of Starbucks VIA Latte to make right in your own home. Available in Caffe Mocha and Vanilla Latte, these scrum-deli-icious drinks won’t just wake you up in the morning… they’ll also turn you into the suavest Latte Romeo around.
Don’t believe me? Check out this video for proof positive!
Now, I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up , but the paternal folks over at Life of Dad have teamed up with Starbucks for a very cool LatteRomeo Contest. You can make your own LatteRomeo video and enter the Starbucks VIA Latte #LatteRomeo Mother’s Day Video Contest for a shot at winning a $500 Starbucks Gift Card!
Like I said, you are more than welcome to enter the contest, but you’ll have to be more suave, more debanoir than me if you wish to usurp my LatteRomeo crown!
To enter, just make your own 15-second video showing off your LatteRomeo side in reference to a Mother’s Day breakfast. Read the full rules before you put together your own video.
The most fun part of the contest is that us dads have to ask our kids what we should make mom for breakfast. And, well… we have to do it. So when I asked Jason and Ryan what we should make, they responded with “Pasta and bananas” (Ryan) and “a hot dog and frosting” (Jason).
Not one to ignore the wishes of my children, I came through in the end.
Feel free to enter and if you do, I wish you the very best of luck. Trust me, from one LatteRomeo to a schlub of a father… you’re going to need it!
