I still remember the first music CD I ever purchased. It was Dokken’s “Back for the Attack.” And it rocked. (Still does!)
Going back even further, though, the very first album I ever purchased in my life (and it was on something called an “audio cassette.” Go look it up, kids.) was the Police’s “Synchronicity.”
Yeah, I was always into music as a kid and there was more than one occasion where my dad’d scream at me to “Lower that noise!” This seemed to mostly happen when Twisted Sister was blaring for some reason.
Anyways, today it’s so much easier for kids to play music. I had a stereo in my room and a walkman that I’d listen to when I mowed the lawn. That was it. Now, you can play tunes anywhere and everywhere thanks to the wonderful digital age we live in. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Great for kids who like to sing and rock out wherever they are. But considering how today’s music is a bit more… let’s say “R-rated,” that can be a bit troublesome for us parents of young kids. Sure there are radio-friendly versions for many songs, but it’s still a bit exhausting keeping up with what songs my kids should or shouldn’t listen to.
That’s where a fabulous app like Rhapsody KIDS can become your BFF. Or, if you’d like, your Musical Babysitter!
Rhapsody KIDS is the first music subscription service that presents a fun and safe environment for kids. It lets your little ones rock out to the newest popular kids music around, as well as some hand-picked playlists. In other words, all tunes available on Rhapsody KIDS have been parent-approved.
Have some favorites of your own that you want to add to their playlists? No problem. You can easily add your own songs anytime. Songs are automatically downloaded for your kids so they can listen any place they go, even offline.
With an easy-to-use, colorful interface, kids can really take control of the soundtrack that is their lives!
If you’re interested in testing it out, now’s the perfect time, thanks to this fabulous promotional offer that runs through October 30: Get 3 months of Rhapsody KIDS for $1! Note that after the 3 months, your subscription reverts to the standard $9.99 per month.
