The MPAA Needs to Fine People Who Spoil Avengers: EndGame

Marvel's Avengers: Endgame begins this week. Thursday night in fact. And unless you've been living under a rock or just make it a policy to avoid watching really fun, amazing movies, then you know that this follow up to Avengers: Infinity War is going to be the biggest movie of all time. It's also going to somehow save and resurrect our favorite Marvel Cinematic heroes. We hope. Otherwise it's going to be a very dark future indeed for Avengers fans! Thor (Chris Hemsworth). This Fanboy Loved Everything About Captain Marvel, Including the Cat

Let me say this right from the start. Captain Marvel is not a great female-lead superhero movie. It's not a feminist-powered, man-bashing film either. Captain Marvel is just an amazingly fun, great movie that happens to have a female lead. It's sad that there even has to be a discussion or a distinction in gender these days when discussing things like entertainment. But apparently that's where we are in society today. I loved Captain Marvel. I thought it was a fantastic film that was yet again a very different type of Marvel movie much in the vein that Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy were. It ties in beautifully with the entire ...

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Swings Onto Blu-ray & DVD March 19

There have been loads of Spider-Man variations over the years. Not just different artists or costume changes, but different characters. Spider-Man 2099. Ultimate Spider-Man. Spider-Gwen. Spider-Ham. Ben Reilly. (Sorry, I had to go there.) With the recent release of Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, mainstream America finally got to see them all too! If you missed it, no worries. The award-winning animated film hits digital download on February 26 and Blu-ray/DVD on March 19. I for one, cannot wait to see it again. As a comic fan, I loved just about everything in this film. The animation is slick and so incredibly unique, I can't even describe it. The story is rich ...

Thanos Demands an Infinity Gauntlet Cake

For my son's 15th birthday, I took Jason and his friends to see Avengers: Infinity War. While I was staring eyes wide open at the most epic battle ever to grace the Silver Screen, Allie was at home wielding all six Infinity Stones by herself.  Yes, Thanos isn't the only one to harness the most powerful weapon in the Marvel Universe. My wife is too. And she successfully made an Infinity Gauntlet cake. Even Thanos would cower at it's power of deliciousness. The hardest part of all was figuring out whether to go with the comic book or movie style for an Infinity Gauntlet cake. Allie used the amazingly awesome George ...

Avengers Infinity War Giveaway – Win a $300 Prize Pack

This post contains affiliate links. We're running out of time. There's only one week left until Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters. And if my calculations are correct, that means Captain America only has one week to live. (See my Avengers death odds post for my predictions.) Obviously I have some very seriously mixed emotions! It's been 10 years in the making and Avengers: Infinity War looks to be the greatest battle for humanity ever to grace the silver screen. I already have tickets for opening weekend and the following weekend. Chances are I may end up seeing it every weekend until it stops playing. Yeah, I'm a "little bit" excited. Avengers: Infinity ...
