Clorox and Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles II Team Up for One Incredible Summer

Clorox Cape Dad

It’s no secret that I love comic books. I’ve always loved those masked marvels and caped crusaders, ever since I was a little boy. In fact, I used to think of my dad as a superhero.

Just like most kids, I’d run around pretending I was Superman. I’d tie my Nun Nun (i.e. my security blanket) around my neck and race around the house flying. Dad would often scoop me up and toss me onto his bed, adding to the magic of the moment.

On Saturdays especially, he’d play around with my sister Beth and I, lifting us up and tossing us around like only a strong super dad could.

But it goes beyond that. Being a superhero is more than just fighting pretend bad guys. It’s also about just being there. And as a kid, my dad was always there for me whether it was taking me on an early morning bike ride, out hiking the wilderness trails at Bear Mountain or even just playing a round of “21” with our basketball hoop.

My dad would have a catch with me in the backyard or be a captive (and heckling!) audience while I practiced my magic tricks on him. He even helped me sneak down to way better seats at Madison Square Garden for a Knicks game, since the place was half empty anyways.

Not once as a kid did I ever worry about where we were going or what we were doing, because my dad had it all in control. That’s truly a super dad.

I try to emulate that as much as I can with my kids these days. It’s tough juggling a job, blogging and going to school, all while trying to spend as much time as I can with my family. The fact that I still remember riding my bike to a deli to get cupcakes with my dad one Sunday morning a few decades ago speaks volumes, though.

I want those memories for my kids, and I want them for me.

In other words, I want to be a super dad too!

These days, I can’t think of a better super dad than Mr. Incredible who’s back in spandex this summer when Disney•Pixar’s The Incredibles hits theaters on June 15, 2018! Clorox is helping you clean up your house while the Incredibles clean up their city and save the world!

Clorox Dad Incredibles 2

Clorox products have been wiping up the floor with bad guys (a.k.a. dirt, mud, spills, crumbs) for years. It’s only fitting that they’re looking to promote super dads everywhere, while celebrating the long-awaited release of this action-packed sequel!

When it comes to cleaning and disinfecting, the name Clorox has been used for as long as I’ve been around. You simply can’t go wrong with the old standby of Clorox Bleach to truly clean up your laundry or disinfect all sorts of things like smelly old garbage cans!

Additionally, these days, the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes have replaced paper towels as the go-to item for cleaning up a mess on our kitchen counters or table. They’re a true lifesaver for anything around the house too. Not just because they clean so well, but because they’re just so darn convenient in that plastic tub!

And of course no toilet bowl is safe from the superpowers of Clorox Clinging Bleach Gel.

You can find all these powerful Clorox products at your local Target in the Household Essentials section of the store. I can’t wait to see the Incredibles 2, and I really love how Clorox is tying into the movie this Spring and Summer. Why not join in the fight against grime, and bring your kids along for the ride. After all, any time you can spend with them is sure to be memorable.

How super is your dad?
