The New Captain America: The Winter Soldier Movie Poster Makes Me Want to Jump Out of a Friggin’ Airplane

I’m a “bit” of a Captain America fan. So forgive me if I’m just a wee bit over-excited about the release of a new movie poster for next spring’s movie release Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

I loved Marvel’s first origin-filled film, but now the real fun begins as Cap gets to, well, be Cap! The Marvelous Minions at Marvel have miraculously released maneuvered the release of a new, awesometastic movie poster for the film. Check this out!

GAH! I so cannot wait for this flick! He’s going to jump out of a SHIELD Helicarrier!!! I love the SHIELD logo everywhere. Heck, the 10-year-old Captain America fan in me would never, ever have dreamed anything like this would ever be hitting the movies.

So what’s the film about? Oh, about 2 hours or so. Haw haw. I kid, I kid.

Here’s the scoop straight from Marvel Studios:

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

  1. I am so excited for this movie! I don’t think I could ever get enough of Marvel movies! They have become my passion! I read every little morsel I can about what is next and this movie sounds spectacular! I do hope there is a Hulk movie with Mark Ruffalo, I really liked him as Bruce Banner and I am sure he could hold his own and it would be so much better than the other 2 movies! The trailer for this movie is due out today and I don’t want to go to work till I see it!

I’m excited for Thor 2, but I am 3289434 times more excited for Captain America 2! Cap gets to be Cap! More Black Widow! Robert Redford!

    So…is it April yet?

    • Hey, Mandy!!! Good to hear from ya. I’m with you 100%. I’m super pumped for Thor 2… but Cap 2 has me WAY more pumped. His first film was great but it was an origin story so you couldn’t do much with it. Now we get to see him in full-on Cap mode!
